A Look Back: Arlington Garden Club Celebrates 100 Years of Service

The Arlington Garden Club is celebrating 100 years of history, service and community as the city marks its sesquicentennial. The club commemorates its centennial  highlighting a century of work in gardening, preservation and civic pride.

Founded June 9, 1926, the Arlington Garden Club has played a longstanding role in beautification projects, educational outreach and neighborhood engagement across the city.

As part of the celebration, the club releases a digital archive featuring historical photos, documents and stories from its first 100 years. The collection provides a detailed look back at the organization’s legacy and the community members who helped sustain it.
