The latest “Arlington Eats” segment spotlights one of the city’s most iconic dining staples, J. Gilligan’s Bar & Grill, as part of the celebration of Arlington’s 150th anniversary.
The long‑time establishment, known for its signature Irish Nachos and deep community roots, was featured as the city highlights restaurants that have helped shape Arlington’s identity.
“It’s all about the home team in this hometown, and we’re grateful for the support,” said owner Randy Ford.
J. Gilligan’s, which opened in 1979, remains a gathering place for residents, students, and visitors and is widely recognized for its welcoming atmosphere and tradition of hosting community events.
